Our world is constantly changing. Some of it for the better and most for the worse. What we are experiencing today is an innovative age for the human race. The Industrial Age has brought us to the point of advancement which in return landed us to the moon; however, what’s the point of space travel and technological advancement if we won’t be able to live on our planet in the next few hundred years. Pollution is the cause of this phenomenon. It is calculated that in the next 100 years, the ice sheets in Greenland will melt to the the point of raising the average sea level by 7 meters. This is enough to completely flood the state of Florida. We can do something to prevent it all.
There are many types of pollution: thermal, sound, air, water, light and many others. According to the Oxford dictionary, the definition of pollution is, “the introduction of a harmful or poisonous substance to the environment.” This includes plastic water bottles, CO2 submission, etc. Celebrities like Elon Musk have done a lot to push the idea of electric cars, solar panels, and other items to reduce the effect of pollution on the world. The simplest way we can contribute is to simply recycle items. Upon doing so, the object goes through a cycle and after 2 months the recycled plastic bottle becomes a brand new one.

Annie Leibovitz and Osama Esid are both photographers known to the world. They were both shaped throughout their lives and childhoods to become someone who they are today. Someone who the enjoy being - photographers.
Unlike Osama, Annie is a much more known artist. She found herself running into fame after working as a photographer for the Rolling Stone. She had a very early uprising, and a very easy time getting up to the point where she is. Not only does she possess great talent, but she was given many opportunities. Osama didn’t have these opportunities. He was born in Syria, and simply didn’t possess the money or technology to become a photographer early in his life; however, he was fascinated with art. Esid moved to Egypt when he was younger. There he learned a technique where you take an image of black and white, and then color it in. He learned the technique after his prolonged time spent in Egypt. It is a very unique way of taking photos, and not many people today use that technique. That is the very reason why he is known, and why he has multiple articles written on him. Their biggest similarity is their passion for art. Analyzing the similarities between their childhoods was quite challenging. Esid barely had an information on his childhood, making a comparison very difficult to achieve. The comparisons only start rolling in when you begin viewing their early photography life. Both of the artists have a unique way of identifying uniqueness itself. Leibovitz has a very keen eye when it comes to finding the aspects of photography and that is what would make a photo look good in the first place. Esid finds himself using older technology. Other people, upon viewing his ability, notice this. Esid even says that it is a good conversation starter. Esid also insists that he always makes sure to get to know his clients before actually working with them. This makes Esid more personal than just another person you hire. The differences between the artists stand very clear. Their styles, ways of working, amd popularity stand very far apart. Leibovitz is by far much more popular throughout the world than Esid. Esid only has a few articles written on him. He has had a harder time getting to the place where he is. You can say that thanks to her natural ability, Leibovitz has had a fairly easy time getting popular and well known. Their similarity rests upon their way of life, their uniqueness, their artistry, and finally, their photography. 3 Paragraph Response and Review. Subject - Brian Matthew Hart and his Art.
Brian Hart is a photographer; however, he is not the type of photographer you may be thinking of. Instead of taking high quality pictures of nature and etc., he utilizes the shutter speed option in his camera to create art, with light. Usually people don't utilize the shutter speed option in a camera to its full potential, and even Hart admits that the camera is tool of potential that we haven't discovered yet. This makes Hart completely unique compared to other artists that use a camera to capture light, color, and motion. So how is Hart able to utilize his camera to achieve such an impressive result? Like said earlier, Hart uses the shutter speed option to capture big amounts of light over time while the camera captures all of it. First he has to find a relatively dark place to commit to his art. If not done well, the light will leak onto the photo and the whole picture may be ruined. Then you have to find an object to outline with light, once done well you can find yourself taking a flashlight and outlining the object. After a certain period of time the camera finally takes the final result and you have a ton of light oriented outlines in the final result. Later the photo is edited in Photoshop for a clearer outline, and then exported to the internet. What makes his art unique is the creativeness he puts in the pictures. Hart goes in the most absurd places and has the most absurd ideas, and makes them work. 1. Composition: The composition of this image has earned the highest tally mark of 14. The amount of objects in this image that are brought out by the angle is the best thing that I made sure to include in this image.
2. Subject Matter: In this picture above I failed to outline the main focus point. It was meant to be the camera but it was far too small in the picture to get enough tally marks. 3. Creativity: This picture is doing second best in terms of tally marks. It has achieved this state due to the place where the image was taken. The body of water is differentiated by the trees and the land on the opposite side. 4. Technique/Camera Control: The camera control in this image highlights the composition; however, it fails to highlight the main focal point. If I would have been able to take the picture at an angle and capture the camera shown on the left, I would have got many more tally marks. |
